Forge’s 2nd release on Silk for 2016, showcases his techno heritage with dubbed out techno vibes and minimal production methods reminiscent of famous crusty analog drum machines. Solid kicks, creamy atmospheres and deep techno soundscapes drive ‘Analogue’ while ‘Return’ is strewn with tape delays and vintage verbs that cascade over the minimal percussion layers. Considering these tracks are at 170bpm it makes everybody wonder why Forge doesn’t experiment more at slower tempos.

Sunchase throws down some serious bass pressure for the next remix on Solace. Malk & Starjam lend their already amazing track ‘All I Need’ to Sunchase for a big rework. Out very soon on an already massive E.P with additional remixes from the L.P by talented producers Compa, Ghostek & Akuratyde.

The fast rising Akuratyde delivered one of his best works in the subtle form of ‘Last Forever’ just a few releases ago. Akuratyde returns to Silk off the back of his ‘Embrace E.P’ on Blu Mar Ten Music. We now revisit his ‘Last Forever’ E.P with a host of updated remixes from artists including; Random Movement, Method One, Forge, Eusebeia and RQ. Spread over 6 tracks from experimental soft electronics through to beautiful liquid and harder edged sounds, this remix E.P is a true expedition in creative D’n’B.
