Gary Frost and Andy Tulip aka – Congi are one of the U.K’s leading up and coming bass music producers. Having only been working together for just over a year the duo have managed to rack up and impressive list of releases numerous labels and have recently released there first 12″.

The boys from Nottingham have stepped up for remix duties on Solace and have graced us with huge debut effort for the label. An absolute smasher of a tune, the lads are really finding there feet and if this is anything to go by expect to hear more from the duo very soon!

Edd Legg, aka eleven8 is a young producer hailing from East Grinstead. A keen musician from an early age, Edd picked up several instruments – more notably the drums. After several years of playing in Punk and Post Rock bands, he decided to transfer his skills as a drummer to electronic music – which has influenced his productions heavily. His sound is now often known for his distinctive percussion and acoustic samples. With a precise blend of industrial, warped sound effects and melodic snapshots of real, organic samples, his productions are beginning to make waves.

Showing his versatility, ‘eleven8’ shows off his production skills in this release which incorporates elements of guitars, synths, dirty bass and clean crisp drums to show off what a seismic style this young producer has.
Alone’ is the title track and has ‘eleven8’s’ signature sound strewn all over it. Tight razor sharp drums over a skippy time signature and brooding subs make this one a heavy affair.  A very catchy vocal riff and driving atmosphere round off this intricate track.

The aptly titled track “Remember Me’ is a tribute to a friend of ‘eleven8’s’ that sadly passed away. On first listen you can hear the meaningful melodies of the guitars and the emotion ‘eleven8’ really has passed into this track. A very soft track with deep meaning but don’t be fooled; the baseline is still perfect for rattling any club sound system.

Intergration Now emerged in Recife around 2009 by producer Jeferson Paulo, with the goal of producing electronic music with a different footprint. Without neglecting the influences of where he was brought up, Jeferson’s blend of styles range from DNB, Heavy, Minimal, House, Downtempo, experimental to MPB, and other atmospheres.

Having recent releases on sister label ‘Silk Recordings’, Integration Now expands his sound with his debut solo offering on ‘Solace’. A jam packed E.P full of amazing atmospheres, subtle soundscapes and song arrangements to die for. This E.P really shows how versatile this producer is and hearing influences from dubstep, DNB and right thru to 2-step, it shows he’s capable of nailing any tempo he decides to make in the studio.

On top of all this Jefferson has been working on his new project “The Hybridz” which connects Brazil / New Zealand through a partnership with producer and Forge. ‘The Hybridz’ project has loads of releases lined up including 12″ + digital formats for labels such as Silk, Soalce and GBDA. Integration Now is just beginning his career and promises great things for the future.

Having an onslaught of releases on well respected labels such as Invisible, Dispatch, Horizons and many more, this young gun is showing no signs of slowing down. Playing in some of Europe’s biggest clubs in the weekend and a full-time student during the week, Nickbee shows us he’s an unstoppable force when it comes to tunes. St Albans based Dan Richmond first immerged into the scene mid 2009 with his debut self-titled Album – Clubroot.
Citing dark and techy drum and bass, uk garage, and film scores as major sources of inspiration, Clubroot has moulded a solid sound which encapsulates a variety of favoured elements and ingredients lent from underground music gone by.
With a second Album already under his belt, and a third on the horizon, Clubroot’s sound has continued to grow and mature into a unique blend of ambient soundscapes, thunderous basslines, eclectic beats and ethereal overtones.
With just as much artistic importance placed on his DJ sets as his production, Clubroot has graced crowds in Russia, Budapest, Poland, Belgium and the US with sets that promise diversity, depth and emotion.

Having received a wide variety of DJ support from across the board – James Zabiela and Sasha to Mary Anne Hobbs, Rob Da Bank and TRG, and glowing reviews from Pitchfork, Bigup Magazine and more – it’s fair to say Clubroot’s sound has touched a nerve and is receiving the attention he rightly deserves.
