Stole aka Jamie Stowell heads up the Solace Records label brand alongside Solitude (Tom Bond). Forthcoming releases include a CD L.P on Australian based label Materalizim, and his debut E.P on Solace. The E.P will be a digital only release and will include tracks such as the highly sought after ‘Kingston Cocca’ and ‘Waiting For Forever’.

Stole shows us his versatility as a producer by combining elements from house, dub, d&b and various other EDM generes into an array of razor sharp rhythms and pounding sub bass lines.
Stay tuned for clips and the full tracklist to be announced soon. There is also a remix from one of the scenes biggest artists to round off the E.P.

Stole is also one half of the production duo ‘The Hybridz’ with Integration Now and also goes under the name Forge when producing his d&b flavoured tracks. Expect to hear loads more fresh materinal in the forthcoming weeks from this producer.

Solitude (Solace Records, UK)

Tom Bond better known as Solitude is well known on the deeper dubstep scene thanks to his ‘Ambient Dubstep’ mix series started in 2009 and already containing 14 episodes.
His style can be described as beautiful and sensitive mixture of carefully selected music somewhere between the fileds of deeper and more atmospheric side of dubstep, ambient and IDM.

More recently Solitude’s collaboration project with Jamie Stowell aka Stole has turned into a fully functional dubstep brand – Solace Records. The first batch of releases are soon to grace record stores with Clubroot – Scars/Hellion heading up the labels first release. There has been an amazing amount of anticipation building up for the label and the podcast is close to 5000 plays in it’s first month on soundcloud. Both lads have been working extremely hard behind the scenes so expect plenty more things to come from the Solace Records camp including a VA L.P and many digital and 12″ releases to be announced in the coming weeks.
